|
|
| G Day guy's, currently running 15.9 @ 139 kmh and a 60' time of 2.5. I want to run in the high 14's and with the mod's I'm doing in the off season I think this will be possible. Just want an idea on the trap speed and 60' times needed to run high 14's |

well typically a trap speed of over 91mph will get you a high 14.
my time was a 14.81@91.25mph with a 2.10 60 foot.
good luck |

| So around 150 kmh should do it, 2.0/2.1 60' times is what I'm hoping for with the new 2400rpm stallie, stage 2 mechanical shift kit and the soon to be fitted 3.73 LSD. The vernier cam gear has improved the Rspec 1 cam a fair bit so I cant wait for September when Quit Motorplex crank's up again. I love the drags when you come up agains't a V8 holden and you scare the s**t out of them in a 4.0L EF Grandpa Fairmont Station Wagon. |

| As long as I'm heading in the right direction. Yeah high 14's is a bit on the hopefull side, might upgrade the cam when Iv'e saved enough money for a aftermarket computer. To break into the 14's would be good though. |

acceleration vs distance covered are two different things but both generally speed.
a slower take off but better shift changes on a colder night may see higher trap speeds but lower times.
Shift it right and u may get that 14 |

I've only managed to get a 2.4 60'ft time. My best being a 15.5 at 146kph from a manual EF XR6 with Pacemakers, 2.4" exhaust and K&N panel filter.
If only I could launch. |
