| Regency Red. My favourite colour for XRs and Fairmonts in the EF and EL range. |

Why not be original and choose a non EF/EL colour?
Worst part is the amount of work in a colour change, you going to strip the engine bay to paint it? hahaha
Have never thought much of Regency, same as Pheonix red on the Commo's, can't stand that colour.
I done a colour change on the XD years back from the std silver to Argon silver... a lotttttttt of work involved, but i guttered the engine bay and had it bead blasted as thats the worst part to prep. |

| Black? better be prepaired to pay a beater lots of money then, if you dont get all the ripples out of it then it's going to look s**t... but if the body was perfect then yeah black is awesome, but for it to be any good the bod has to be 100%. All those tiny ripples you dont see now on it will be magnified with black lol. |

It wouldn't surprise me if that's had a car yard paint job on it... the paint work looks too good for an XR6 Manual of that price.
3 months and that car will look like it's been baking in the Simpson Desert for 10 years. |

Ripples like those around the door handles when the metal was pressed for the holes yeah.
There are quite a few ripples from new on the 'E' series cars aren't there.
Probably why they never liked doing black... |
