I thought Wade made JMM's cams?
Does the Wade Stage 2 cam differ depending on weather my car is automatic or manual, or does it not matter as there both the same? |
If you are referring to the 1004 profile we recommend the 114 split for autos (slightly better idle) and the 112 split for a manual tranny. Mind you, we're not talking about a major difference.

hmmm i am going to give you a call this afternoon/tomorrow (i assume you are open tomorrow) anyway, so for an auto you recommend the 114? because i was just reading your site and the 112 says "suit auto" or is that the 1004 cam in general?
i only ask as i am going to put one into my El Fairmont 6cyl auto, idle doesn’t "really" worry me as long as she doesn’t stall.
This will be used with 4480 pacemakers, 2.5cat back, k&n filter, etc etc. |

Thanks for pointing that out. We'll get that changed. The 1004<112 will suit an auto and will run OK, it's just that @ 114 the idle characteristics are slightly better and accordingly is more appropriate for an auto. Does that make sense, probably not.
Sorry, we don't work on Saturdays.
