| I have been happy with the performance of the top guns but not the quality. I.E. the caps came off a couple when checking plugs |

A few on here have mentioned that they have used a certain brand of leads for years and that their cars started backfiring, well i don't know about the rest of you but with the older LPG systems (OMVL90) it's a good habbit to change your leads/spark plugs every 6 months or so, this ensures that you have no issues and have a top notch ignition system. Now 6 months may be a bit overkill for some, you may find that the leads are the ones that should be changed more regularly, the spark plugs maybe once per year, i have found though only after 6 months that my spark plugs have carbonised a fair bit.
Of course with the newer LPG systems like SVI this is not necessary at all and backfires are almost non-existant. |
