Thought you would have seen enough lowering threads to know by now. Around 230 for all four springs, but if you go to something like superlows, you'll need shortened shocks. Depends if you fir them yourself as well icon_smile.gif

lows are good with std shocks, superlows you need new shortened shocks, or else you'd really be pushing it...

About $200 for springs, if shocks are shot then you'll need shocks. IF you go KYB they are about $100 a pair. Fitting will be a fairly big expense..

i've been warned by a mate whos a mechanic about doing as such, and also another person (member on here) has superlows w/ std height shocks - he reckons its not healthy at all, and can't wait to get the lowered shocks back in - but then again, if you're not having any issues with it, i guess it can't be true every time! icon_razz.gif

yeah .. thats me...

fkn s**t me.. i got gas shocks heavy duty in .. with pedders superlows.. the rears are fine.. but since replacing my short shocks which were f**k with my standard lenght ones , the front has been lifted up by the shock about an inch. looks standard. :S

so basically its taken the settling load off the springs.. the rides still stiff but looks s**t, cos its higher than it should be with the wheel at guard level.

im gonna get KYB or something in the front when i got some money.

Pfft, you guys are all getting ripped off.

You buy a GMC angle grinder from bunnings for $29.95
Spring compressors from Supercheap for $45

OK so i'm joking here, dont do this unless you want to make your car handle like s**t, get screwed by the insurance companies in the event of a claim and for everyone to point and laugh at your poverty a***. In other words it was a joke. So dont do it. Because it was a joke. Get it? A joke.

Really, dont do it.

I paid $150 for my 4 kings superlows just 2nd hand (expect about $240 new)
$510 for Munroe GT Gas shocks to suit super lows
$140 for the camber kit (i think)

I fitted it myself with the help of a mate.

But EL's look horn lowered!

Compare to the burnout pic (std ride height)

paid 1650. king lows (?)... lowered 2 inches anyway. koni specials, camber/castor kit and fitting everything, plus a couple new bushes where needed.

wish it was lower, but i don't think i'd be able to drive if it was any lower.

and hey hornet ^ how'd u pull off that burnout? there's no way my ef would be able to make the tyres smoke like that... if at all!

Havn't done the camber yet but the springs and shocks were easy. I only say that cause I also did some welch plugs on the same day and they took a lot longer and invented some new swear words at the same time icon_biggrin.gif
