I recently bought a set of new bosch injectors off ebay , and they were advertised as 30lbs ,but I never got any paperwork with them
can anyone tell me if they are what I paid for
Bosch 0280 156 123 this is the number on them, they are blue all over and are EV6 type.

213g/m = 20lb but I assume you ment 213gal/hr which means they are the same as the XR6T injectors, dark blue and rated at 35.5lb/hr but from memory you will find that they have a different plug on them compared with the E-series V8.

From AU onwards they went away from the EV1 style Bosch/AMP injector to the EV6.

Same type of plug as my loom, and yes they are dark blue, but bosch motorsport claim they are all measured in grams per minute as this is an internationally accepted standard

The way some injectors are advertised is so confusing. It would be nice if there was just 1 standard. I think lb/hr is good icon_biggrin.gif

Converting these specs to lb/hr makes them approx 27.5 lb/hr at around 40psi, 56hp per injector 100% duty rate & 283cc, these are far from exact as you need the pressure reading that was used to achieve 213g/m, but 213g/m does not equal 30 lb/hr.

If you search around the web you might find a more up to date injector charts than I have, I have a few but finding then on here isn't fun, I could send you one that is 86Kb, contains 208 different injectors of different brands you could compare against, yours isn't listed but there is heaps of injectors not listed, I have heaps of common gold/yellow colour 19 lb/hr 5.0L truck injectors that aren't even listed, there is heaps of Bosch injectors not listed on the web etc

I have had this in my mind so correct me if I am wrong -
specific weight of fuel is .78
213g/min
therefore 213g devided by specific weight (0.78) = 273cc/min = 576.5oz/hr = 36lb/hr
Any budding mathematicians out there care to correct or check this?
