Guys just hang in there for those that are after a engine management system to control the Engine and Electronic Transmission control. Wolf would have to be the first and maybe only one aftermarket system that will be doing both. Not even the rolls royce of after market engine management systems has enough drivers to do so. AS a lot of other companies do not have enough drivers on their circuit boards to do this. A transmission controller on its own is between $700 to $2000 USD so in actual fact once the wolf can successfully control the BTr4 transmission and engine you are getting a bargain at the group price. Here are some transmission controllers only and believe me their not cheap. The transmission and engine controlled by a wolf v500 will not be released . It has been postponed due to the large amount of rime consumed in trying to get it to control the BTr4 electronic transmission properly But the EF and EL Wolf V5 ECU's are up and running just controlling the engine side of things. The system comes with a full instructions and a base map so plug'n'play is ready for delivery. The guys that are hoping for transmission control don't hold your breathe it will not happen for a very long time , and this is from the CEO of wolf doesn't matter what others say. Will i need to modify the distributor or anything else? Do i need to add any sensors? Do i need to run wiring to the injectors? Very interested in this, more worried about how hard it is to install as i want to do it myself. Depends on how you set it up AFAIK...leading edge v trailing edge / reading short tooth of the distributor. Should be ok with injectors...V500 can take high and low impedance. Good luck with it - there are plenty here who have good knowledge of the ignition side of things. Fuel side is pretty straight forward - reg, injectors and pump.
