Well just my opinion but i disagree with using 6'9's and a sub let alone 2 in unisen (spelling) rear fill does not matter much ne way, but yeah if you have tried out the Pioneer splits and you liked them chances are it should sound pretty tip top, and LOUD.
You have heard the speakers prior to buying them havent you? |

| Very nice speaker, quality and volume is unreal. Runs great on just a HU, and blows when it gets some power. Don't push them to hard, because someone has told me the that the material of the cone, can split easily or something, when pushed too hard and they can overheat as well. |

Splits in the front will be great with your subs. If the 6x9's sound OK at the moment then you'll be laughing with the splits for front sound. Amps would be good all round not only for volume but to 'tune' the sound. |

If it were me i would be running the new speakers off an amp, get rid of the 6'9's and put in some 6' coaxials or something. Do you always have people in the back? That would be the only reason i would eva get 6'9's.
Other than that your 2 12's should be producing adequate sub bass ne way. |

definately get an amp onto them to power match to ur subs. more power to them should help bring the bass up front too
if ur running the 6X9's off the h/u, try HPF'ing them and see if they sound any better running with the subs. if u have the HP'd u should be able to turn them up louder without distorting them.
good luck with them! |

Axis Audio 2 channel amp 300watts max power or briged 1X 200wrms.
But yeah its a really good quality amp even if your using it for a sub (like me) will provide adequte power to your speakers. and make them sound awesome. |

| yeah everyone says that, but most people just go off what they hear from others. in theory, no they probably shouldnt, as 6x9s should have enough bass to play without subs, and putting the two together is too much bass. however, if tuned correctly, they can sound great together. |
