Hey guys

Today I took delivery of a 302w out of an AUIII Ute which was involved in a car fire purchased from FTG Auto Salvage.

Plans on what will be done are a bit sketchy, originally the donk was purchased just to grab the GT40P's to throw onto my current engine, but I've decided the entire engine will be built up over the coming months and dropped into the EB Ghia once completed.

Looking to get the GT40P's freshened up and flowing to the best of their ability, and the bottom end freshen up will include something along the lines of a 347 stroker kit, and already got a Cobra manifolt to bolt on top.

Hoping to do as much as possible in the backyard, so stay tuned for pictures and stories.. this is new territory for me!

Hey Darren, it rocked up at the Workshop on Wednesday morning on a damn B-Double semi! The workshop had to decline delivery due the size of the truck. They returned thursday on a smaller truck.. so yeh.. very quick. Engine looks in reasonable condition, better than I assumed.

Hopefully start pulling it down next week.

and whats wrong with 5.0 litre EB Ghias? icon_razz.gif

yeah i have been talking for a few people about a full engine rebuild and stroke out and stuff i was just going to get a extra eb engine and mess around with that until i finish it and swap the 2 5.0 litres over, but i think i might buy a AU engine and build that one up coz there is not much price differnce between the 2.

you'll have to bring your ghia down when it's done and go to calder or something and we'll see whos done a better job waggy! icon_wink.gif , lol

347, Vortech, Tweecer. Sounds like a plan icon_smile.gif

Hopefully I can squeeze enough LPG and Air down some adequately ported GT40P's with the Cobra Manifold on top icon_biggrin.gif

My GF keeps saying 2 words though - daily driver! icon_smile.gif
