Hey got some 17's, and just wondering if 245s are too wide on a EL Falcon with Lovell Ultra lows. Can get cheap 245s just not 235s which are on them now.

Cheers

if you have 235's on it now just hav a look see if your not hittin any suspenion or anythin else.
245's would only need another 5mm clearence on each side.

245's on 17's will fit on an EL with ultra lows. I had them on my old sedan when I first got it and for the most part it was fine but the car did have alot of negative camber on the front and chewed out the inner edge of the tyres very quickly

For those with rubbing issues, what width & offset rims are you running?

Cheers

So with 245/45/17s there appears to be no tire rubbing when turning.

Thought I would update you's.

That's cool to know. I might consider a pair for the rear of my eb, see if they help with traction or not, lol.

Cheers

245/45 is a tad larger than my 235/45 atm. I wasn't thinking about launch traction but general traction, since the swap to the 5spd, the car is not so hard to provoke into spinning the rears....

Cheers
