Troongy, go for 3.7's mate, that way there you maintain decent revs at highway speeds.

Your probly looking at close to a grand for a quality job with brand new gears, but then you may aswell get a brand new LSD centre aswell which will bring up to about 1300-1400 all up with gears.
Thats where i f**k up with my old ute, got 3.7's first for 1100 then like a year later i got an LSD centre put in and cost me another 1100, when i could of just done it all at once for bout 1400.

All in all the 3.7's and LSD was the best mod i done to my old ute.

This ones going good, although its not going yet. Gettin tuned next wednesday, then it'll be all go.

Check out my thread in the V8 workshop section titled "Heads & Cam".

Its pretty long, might wanna skip to about page 7 or so.

How much did he say for the motor build? And what cam and s**t, cant really just say stg 3, makes no sense.
