You dont have to change it but yes your speedo will be out, when I went to 4.11's mine at 80 reads 110, at 100 reads 140, you get used to it but for the cost of the gear just find the right one and do a swap.


ebfairmont3.9 im thinking in the next car to get built going for more than 4.11 maybe something like 4.3

With a T5 manual (not an EA box).
With 4.11's it should sit on 2,500rpm at 100km/h.

I just went to preston auto and they hooked me up with 9" 4.11 and LSD for under a grand.

just figerd out i got 3.08 in mine thats bad so dose anyone know if this manual r31 diff is going to be 3.11 or 3.7

pintaras have 4.11's

manual skylines have 3.7

auto skylines have 3.89

Hi just wondering if anyone could give me the names of a few companies that would have gear sets for a lsd in a eb xr6 in ratios 3.7 or 3.9 that are in nsw thanks as every company i talk to say they only stock 9inch centres thanks.
