.2 of a second with 3.73 LSD, originally 3.23 open. Same mods as in sig plus wade 1636. Strangely enough my 60' time only improved by .064 of a second nothing really.

Righto, doesnt seem to be worth it then. How did it feel after your swap over? from standing start.

cheers

You should notice a fair bit more poke through the gears, with a jump from 3.2's to 3.7's.
The quarter mile times could be affected as there could now be another gear change before the line. But on the street there should be decent improvement.
Mooseman, i'll let you know in a few weeks what 4.11's will do.
But as a few guys have worked out, i'll probably be needing a change to 5th over the line on the strip, which is s**t. So i wouldn't be thinking that the top speed would be much above 200km/h at all.

I know you wanted 5spd guy to comment on 4.11's but just to complete the picture, with a 4spd toploader I thin about 140-160 would be shaking the thing to pieces.

Definately worth it, best power upgrade so far but then again I havent had to much sccess in that department. The car feels like it has balls now, off the line you dont notice a huge difference but the revs rise quicker and get into the power band much quicker, it also doesnt drop down as many revs when the auto changes up a gear so you stay higher in the rev's and more in the meat of the power.

Sort of related but to give you an idea of whether it's worth it or not, I just sold my 3.45 diff in my EL and traded it for a 3.08 diff. Took it for a drive after the swap and had to check twice if the handbrake was on. Feels soooo much more sluggish!
