Folks is it possible to transfer the abs tone ring from an abs axle to a non-abs alxe?

ok I've just found out it can be done - it is very tricky and generally it is quite common for them to fall off again once they've been moved across. Scratch that idea!

If they are a press fit (I suspect they are), then probably not a good idea to trust it again. I'd assume getting it off would mean removing the bearing and it's retainer as well.
So yeah - good call, just get another ABS rear axle . . . .
