Hi guys,
Has anyone fitted a dipstick to an EL auto gearbox? It's a real pain checking the level without one.I guess the filler plug thread into the box would be a problem.
Thanks in advance

if you take it any reputable trans mission place they should be able to do it for you

the hole is there inside the case it is just not drilled to meet the outside
then you buy a dipstick from a ef trans and you are set

correct all they need to do is drill the hole through the case
clean it up a bit with a file and put the dipstick in as the second top bellhousing bolt is where the dipstick bracket bolts to.

you have to do it from inside the auto
by taking the transmission pan off as there is a dipstick hole casting on the inside
