ok total noob when it comes to this, is it possible to get it done at just the back, like a system u can drop on its a** when parked, and raise it to drive etc. im not worried about how much it costs before anyone says forget it $$$$$ jsut curious cos id only want the back done as i like the ride, and height at front of my car, cheers guys

here in newcastle theres a commodore wagon getting around with air brushing and stuff, and well for a commo, it aint 2 bad.. anyhow, it has airbag suspension on it and autosalon is on tomorrow which im gonna go to, and he usually enters so ill take some pics for u

the fronts can be done, they need to install a restrictor sleeve around the bag so the top A-arm doesn't rub the bag when going up and down.

on a quick sidenote, does anyone know if HYDRAULIC suspension systems are illegal here in WA? because ive heard they are...

well according to DPI only air shock absorbers can be installed without needing any form of approval. To go a hydraulic setup id say it would be illegal without engineering...or being approved by a dpi vehicle inspector....fillout this link and see what they say.

DPi are useless idiots ;)

i rang them about a manual conversion, they said fill in that form, send it in, they will approve it or deny it, you can then do the mod and then get it checked.

i rang the pits office.

"just do it and bring it in, we will look at it and sign it off if its ok, 40 bucks"
