Recently I put an EBII T5 in my EF, all is well except for the reverse lights and the speedo.. I know this has been covered a million times, I put off posting this for 2 nights while I try and searched for the info I was after but I don't get alot access to a computer and I just can't find what i'm after.

I plugged in the loom that came with the box in which was no worries, but there was a single orange (I think) wire left with a plug on the end (the end that plugs in near the intake) that I couldn't figure out where to plug it too and im thinking maybe this is why my speedo isn't working... Can anyone maybe fill me in on what i've done or point me in the right direction?

cheers

Are you still running your auto ecu?

If so, heres a guide which includes 'tricking' the auto ecu to work with the manual box...

I think the T5 wiring loom from EB to EF is different. The pins are in different places.

From memory you just need to rearrange the wires on one of the 2 plugs to the wire on either side of the plug is the same colour and thats it.

Either that, or post what your wire colours are and we can sort it out - I made up a couple of pinout diagrams for the EB/ED & EF rectangular plugs.
