Are ED front brake pads the same as EF ones?

Hey, I've got a set of ED front pads here and need to change the front pads on my ef 2 ghia.

Can I use the ED ones or are they different?

Back in the day, they (genuine Ford) were different.....as in the materials used.
ED had hard pads and hard disc's......EF had soft pads & soft disc's.
They are the same shape, can be swapped from one to the other.
