I bought Billet PRO 5.0 shifter for a T5 gearbox recently and noticed that there's nothing to seal the mechanism against dust & moisture. The standard shifter, it's replacing, has a rubber seal.

Can anyone tell me if there is a rubber cover, or something similar, available to seal the shifter? I've been searching the net (& Fordmods) but found nothing.

Do you mean around the shifter mech at the bottom, or between the shifter and the box?
Perhaps a pic with the area you mean outlined might be of assistance?

I think you would be able to use this one.

I dont know of any others. Unless maybe you could take the one off your stock shifter.

Thanks MADXF. That's the part I'm after. The rubber seal on the standard shifter is not wide enough in diameter. I was looking at the Commodore seals, but they're not suitable either.

It would be handy if I can find someone in Oz that sell them as a lot of these websites have e-mail links but never reply to messages.
