how different is tha suspesnion n brake setups on tha front end of the ea to tha au ?????

The earlier models have radius arms and lower strut links, whereas the AU has a lower wishbone and a different upper wishbone. They are not interchangeable. (also, the AUI's lower wishbone is different to the AUII's lower wishbone).

IIRC AU front end is the same as EF/EL. I know for sure that the front brakes are the same.

I'm pretty sure the EF/EL's don't have a lower wishbone, but i can't remember the last time i looked at one.

Totally different design for the AU, AU1 has EL brake calipers but that is about it, the rotor/hub design is a totally different design between E and A series.

Au's have a floating hub on the front for the brakes, E series the brake is attached to the stub axle. Also geometry is different. PM macxr8, he replaced the entire suspension in his EL with AUII XR including IRS.
Also XTT909 has done the IRS rear conversion.

ohk thanks so its doubtfull i could get an au front end asssembally into an ea really i only need the rotor break and strut setup like everything in the wheel well bcoz im trying to get sum 19 inch rims on my car but all have the au offset so only way i can do it now is with wheel spacers but then i cant get an engineers certificate for tha rims so i dont get defected every 5 minutes lol but yea does any1 have a link to sum1 that done tha modifications to the ef/el bcoz they have a similar setup dont they
???
