Can any one tell me the specification differences between a AU master cylinder and a EF as I have been given a new AU one and mine is 250000km old and I want to swap them.

mate if yours works fine i would be inclined not to change it, particularly when its a swap for one out of a different model. I wouldnt be at all suprised if the mounts etc end up being different anyway

The mounts and connections are the same but the stroke or bore size is different and it may have different brake bias and was basically looking for info on that as I have that info on my ef, but you maybe right "dont fix what isnt broke"
