I okay, I know its been done, and quite a few people have done this mod .

Never bothered to read up on it, so hoping someone can share some info with me on it .

Now, I know you can use spacers, OR you can replace the brake hubs on them ... that right? ...

Don't really wanna use spacers, But would like to know more about the conversion .

cheers.
Antony.

theres no "conversion" as such

basically you just need Hub Adapters as spacers arent legal.

Thats about it, in Sydney "tempe tyres" sell them (www.tempetyres.com.au), Neils Wheels as well and a few other mobs. Not that many places sell them! they are $80ea roughly but most places like tempe will sell them to you in a package with some wheels.

Adapters are legal in NSW but not in VIC as ive been told on here, not sure about other states.

I have AU11 xr8 wheels on my EB remanufactured in the EB offset.

cheaper than genuine tickford and just as good with no need for conversion or adapters.

Yeah, but they look stupid, and if they are wide they'd probably foul. Oh, and it would affect the cars handling, probably in a rather negative manner.

sell the genuines for more than youd pay for the copies..

purchase the copies and put some tyres on them..

simple..

spend any left over money on piss!

LOL. Simple logic wins again.

I also agree with waggin, adaptors on the front and no adaptors on the rear makes for a weird look.
