can anyone tell me what 4 speed auto will fit my au 1 have been told ef/el dont fit(computers are different) but au 1 thru ba do,
what mods do i need to do to make a ba box fit if any. |

i asked this same question a while ago, after asking around i found you can use any four speed auto ea to au. if you do decide to use an earlier auto then the bellhousing has to be changed for the au1 housing, i found this on ford facts

i will have an au1 auto box, actually 2 auto boxes available very soon.
one will have been a reconditioned box only put in my car 1000kms ago, and the other i pulled out a while ago and if anyone is interested i will rebuild it with new bands, clutch packs, seals, etc to sell as a rebuilt box. if you are interested pm me Nathan
