hey on my el i got no trans dipstick how do i know how much fluid i got and how do i top it up

theres a filler hole (with a bolt in it) in the side of the box (check your gregories) and if ya see fluid leaking (like mine lol) then its time for some more :)

Get about 2meters of CLEAN 12mm hose and feed it from g/box fill hole to outside of car and pour fluid into other end while holding higher than filler plug.

It helps to have 2 people but you can tie wire around the end and hang it from door lock pin.

Take it slowly and when fluid flows from filler hole stop, remove tubing, put bung back in and clean up mess.

You should probably put a catch tray below box before starting.

i said the hose thing to him when he first got the car but he said it was too much off a f**k around

Plus you have to jack the car up level to get access.

I've never bothered with mine, just get it checked whenever I can get it to a mechanic.
