Power: 315 rwkw

I'm going to have it rebuilt to handle the power its getting at the moment, but thought Id ask if there is a solution to the following...

If I give it full throttle from a standing start with the auto in economy it changes up but slips when it warms up

If its in power it doesnt slip but wont change up at all unless I lift off throttle.

Is there a sensor or something playing up and not letting it change up? Or is it just stuffed all together?

cheers

Might be a gearbox solenoid, go to a transmission place and ask them to take a look at it, they'll plug in their little computer and give you the error code and what it means.
(If they dont have a ford book they may not know 100% what the error code is but im sure you will have one :))

I've seen much worse on standard setups

Chef... your thoughts on running in economy mode with a resistor on the S5 solenoid??

Worth a try maybe... changes lower in the rev range so that would be good as Im not too keen on reving it past 4500 anyway.

What value resisitor should I try?
