i am new here and i have no doubt this has been asked before

but is it possible? and if it is how hard/expensive would it be?
please note as far as costs go i am not looking for a quite just a ball park figure

There's a heap of info in this forum, just be a lil patient and search slowly...

As far as costs go, FTG (a site sponsor) will get you all the parts you need for $2500ish... Dunno if the Turbo's 5 speed is stronger than the standard 5 speed (if at all)... Might be wise to beef it up anyway

MattEB has done it... says you needa spend some dough down at FoMoCo dealership reprogramming the poota's... you can PM him

i wouldnt bother with a 5 spd - they are a crap box - as soon as they get a bit of power they bugger up!
Buy the 6 spd manual instead
youd be looking at about 5g to do that i reckon

Yep.. T5 is rubbish, don't bother with it, go for a T56 instead. Mal Wood do some conversion kits for BA's but its a bit pricy.
