Hi, Has anyone come accross this problem (and a fix) on a BA 4 Speed auto, the box is ok when cold but after 15 minutes driving it feels softer in the changes and reverse becomes very slow to engage. Hope someone can help. Cheers Michael

I know the BA auto's have overheating problems. I got a secondary transmission cooler fitted, as have many others.

Could be that the trans just needs a service....

But an aftermarket trans cooler for the BA's are a
good idea also, as noted above.
The coolers cost about $250 fitted, from memory.
Pic below shows a cooler mounted in just behind the upper grille.

Hi, Yeah a service is on the cards but I was wondering about solinoids and extras like that, I put a cooler on not long after i got the wagon but that didn't help. cheers Michael
