i know ea-ed guys have done this,my question is can you use the sports shift with it without using a BA auto and if yes how is it done??or do they just do it for looks?

It has been down but not properly.. search um dellboy888 (ithink) he did it in his EA and fordman351 also did it (mind you he has an BA in his EL)

There are a couple of docos floating around on how to do this.
Yes, they can be made to be functional. The hardest part is getting it to look any good, and the big giant hole you need to cut in the floor, and the electronics to make it all work is expensive if you can even find the chap who was building it. BenJ
