im getting extractors and a catback exhaust on my ba tomorrow and im wondering if the btr 4 speed will told the power. i think im being very skeptic but the last xr6 (ef).i had i put extractors on that blew first and 2nd gear

so im thinking it could do something to my gearbox or am i just been stupid?.

also what sort of power increase will i be looking at?

power increase from exhaust would be minor, but still a slight increase..maybe 5kw??
wont be enough of an increase to hurt your gearbox.. it would have been coincidence that your last gearbox died after exhaust upgrade..

The reason I'm saying this because it was about 5 mins after I got them put on and I planted it and chirped 2nd and craped it's self from then.

The xr6 had 260,000 on it and the ba falcon has 130000 on it.

Is it that I'm being to skeptical? Or I'm over thinking stuff

gearbox can fail under normal driving its just luck of the draw or when it will go. and if your putting an exhaust on to get more power on an auto you are kidding your self two its a auto and a 4 speed one.
