Everyone has problems with cars you are what 10-15ppl out of 100,000's of cars made.

My sisters and mates have BA/BFs no issues at all. The main one was the diff for my sisters but ford replaced it and its never done it again.

All cars f**k up, I have 2 house mates which are service mangers for BMW and WV. They get alot of f**k ups in there.

Honestly a V6 in a falcon this is new right? Orion is gunna be just as bad as BA at the start, but there will be over 100,000's produced. So think about it 100 people out of 400,000 who own them not a very high percentage is it?

So in the interim, is it true that you can replace the 2 pinion BA diff with and EL 4 pinion as they are stronger and wont be prone to probs?

only for povo pack xr6s and xts etc
xr6turbo and xr8 and fpv are 31 spline
Non performance fords will be able to use a e series lsd as they are 28 spline
all transmissions are going down hill,my hq waggon diff. over 1.6million ks,i changed the speedo twice-faulty,and i reset the speedo to zero on each motor, drives the rta nuts . 9 motors worn out,2 gearboxes,4 clutches, still runs. oh,no broken axles    240-290fwhp depends on cam i use   driven 28 years :D :D :D :D

Ok, got the car back from bluepower. I decided to put my xr6t aspirations on hold for a while so got them to put in a 4 pinion LSD with 3.9 gears. I dont really know how much better it goes as I have been accelerating very slowly and staying below 2,200 rpm. But no funny sounds anymore and it seems very drivable. Anyway, grandma driving for 1000km and then i'm free.

:)

nah, everything is fine if I drive it normally, however if I were to put the foot down and let the auto downgear, it will rev to limiter so the way around this is to use SSS when legal dragging until I get the ECU reflashed.

How do the xr6 turbo cars go with build quality?
still crap
diffs are still s**t, driveshafts are crap

i know xr8 dimsnatlers car did two driveshafts and a diff all before 15,000kms
I notice NIZPRO are upping the power on the F6 Typhoon and exporting to the UK and kepp the original driveshaft whick is basically the same design as all the sedans. So to do 2 driveshafts within 15,000 k's im sure i would have known about it almost straight away!

It's higher than i'd like, seeing as we only have a small portion of the 100,000-400,000 B series units built, and of that, 10-15 have had an issue....

Argh, I wish ford would pull their socks up, I don't want to shop around for different brands :P Any suggestions for a decent work ute?

That doesnt seem too bad... How can i work it out to 100? I checked google and there is a few calculators.. but they need the auto ratios and i cant seem to find them. I would imagine from that it'd be at about 2300RPM. give or take 100RPM.

With a 3.23 ratio, it would be revving at roughly 1,242 rpm
