well its massive 1st gear is pissing me off, i want to get off the mark quicker, not going to convert it to manual, so what do you guys think? i think a different diff ratio, then i can go LSD too...... how much better do you guys think it would go with a higher ratio????

I would go for the Typhoon 3.7 gears, will make a big difference on take off and should be pretty good on the freeway still.

ohk, any idea where to start looking for the new gears? and any idea what the standard ratio is?

just read that i would need a flash tuner to change my gear changes too cause its auto, and the speedo would be out. is this correct?

supposedly if you take it to ford with the details of the original diff and the new diff details they can flash the computer for you. i had my car flashed by ford to make all the upgrade parts 'speak' to each other, cost me $90.

Yeah Ford can basically tell the car what size wheels and diff ratio your car has and the speedo will be correct for those values. Clever cars these BAs.
