Ok got the taxi back from the mechanics this arvo after having the drive plate and starter motor replaced, when I took off I noticed a small vibration through steering wheel it was not to noticable on the hwy but doing 40 to 60k's you can really feel it.
when i got home i parked the car and started checking tyres ect as i thought i might of lost a wheel weight or some thing with lpg and the vibration was more noticable,
when i got home i place car in netrual and gave it a few revs through differant ranges IE 1000, 1500,2000 ect whilst doing this the steering wheel and car started vibrating, like the missuses vibrator on nos.
could the tranny be refitted in wrong some how to cause this as the car was vibration free before it did the ring gear

Hi,your problem might have something to do with the flex plate you just had replaced. It could be out of balance. Also, the torque converter may not have been mounted correctly to the flex plate.Easy mistake to make.If the flex plate has been distorted slightly this could cause your problem.
Hope this helps you.

also, just re read your post and it may be total coincedence, but check your front tyres. COuld either be out of round, buckled, or flat spotted tyre.

By saying its coming through the steering wheel, will pretty much eliminate anything from the rear, including driveline. Possibly...
