Hey guys,

Just wondering if any of you know whether it's possible to swap out the BA 4-spd Auto in favour of a BF 6-spd Auto?

Easy job? Expensive?

Cheers.

Yeah, thanks smiley.

I've got a BA XR6T with 4-spd Auto, and I know from a test drive in a BF that the 6-spd is much smoother, ...so just checking if they can be retro-fitted to the BA.

Otherwise 5-spd manual is the other option.

if u wanna pay liek over $6000 for the gearbox alone go for it, then u have to change the BEM to the BF one

if you have an XR6T don't swap a 4 speed auto for a 5 speed.. they are clunky pieces of s**t. It'd probly be easier just to trade up to a 6 speed.

6-spd was what I was talking about, lot smoother, not erratic, always in right gear!
