I know what will happen to me now......
363000 klm no brake booster issues. I do have the standard heat shield in place if it helps? I will check how hot it gets for future reference. I have a spare from the fairmont.

if your worried, why not just get abit of exhaust heat tape and wrap it?
also 110 installed..is that a second hand unit or what? i was charged $250 (cost price) plus 80 installation.. |

got ripped i think mate. new outer cover on the booster fitted.
the system didnt need to be blead, looked at serivced or anything? so im happy with 110

I just removed one from the car I have stripped and its a piece of piss. You can undo the master cylinder and pull it aside enough to remove the booster which is attached by 2 nuts under the dash firewall.
