RDA's are better than genuine, DBA's IMO are better again.

DBA's made in Aus, RDA's imported.

Why has noone suggested bleading the brakes?

Sounds like you have some old fluid/air in the caliper as well. My suggestion, being cheaper than all the others made so far..

if you are pulling the wheel off to measure min thickness, while you are there blead off your brakes and flush the system with new fluid. your looking at about $24 for 2 bottles of fluid, 1 to flush and throw the other to charge the lines with, maybe $5 for a 10mm ring spanner as well if not already one living in your tool box.

Dave

pffft its not just mine :P *looks at the BA ute*

Thanks dave...i might need to bleed the brakes, and put new fluids in....and my rotors are basically gone....my rear ones were replaced for roadworthy...while the fronts were not since they had about 1 or 2 mm left on it or something...so i might as well replace it with some slotted rotors.

cheers

just remember, you dont really need slotted and they will throw off a lot of black s**t to your rims. and cost $100 more

yeah, but unless you use your car on a race track regularly, theres not much point.

you can throw as much $$$ at your car as you like but i dont believe cars should be pushed that hard.

one other thing...how hard are they to replace? cause if they are easy and can be done quickly...i might be able to put them in myself....not including bleeding cause im not that confident in bleeding the brakes...especially with ABS.
