hey, i want to upgrade my breaks, and in my last post i was thinking of getting new rotors. now my question is... is it worth upgrading to xr6 turbo brakes instead? calipers and rotors. also would it be worth getting the gt break package over that if its used with 50,000km on em?

thanks, mark

Guess it depends on the price your paying. And the condition, if it's 50,000km's of hard breaking then no, and I'm guessing if they've removed them to upgrade then they probably were thrashing em!
Have you looked at the PBR upgrade kits (I thinnk it's braided lines, larger rotors, calipers, fancy pads, fluid, etc.)?
I'm sure there's also a fair few other companys doing them.

Have you tried Ferntree Gully Aout Salvage for a price on a second hand setup?

For a grand, prolly just slotted (or slotted and crossdrilled) rotors, very decent brand pads, braided brake lines and decent fluid.
