Hi all,

i guess theres already a thread about this somewhere (i did look!) but i couldn't find it.

I just bought a new car (AU I) ugly as car, but i managed to magically tranform it with some large mags. (pictures included)

Problem is, my rotors and calipers look like they belong to a toy car now!

Of course, i plan to get some more power out of the car so i'll need the additional stopping power.

My questions are:
whats a good break system?

where should i go to get them?

and how much will i pay?

Thanks guys!

I dont know about the wheels.. But to improve the look of it get a high series bonnet with the honey comb grill, I reckon they make the au look pretty good.

I paid $400 for the front end, upper and lower control arms, brakes, sway bar, took about a day to fit it. If you are going to do this I think it would be a good idea to change to an au2,3 master cylinder as this seem so have shifted my brake bias forward alot.
(off a 07 bf 30,000 on the clock, rear ender.)

Cheers

They are called choppers, bob jane t-mart have them on clearance at the moment. I was thinking about lowering the car. But i'd like to put a body kit on it later, i don't want to kill the functionality of the car. (like go over a speed bump)

So BA/BF breaks are a good idea? what about a PBR sports kit? How much am i looking to pay?
I can picture the installation being fairly easy.

That was from 'aussie car recyclers' in logan, brissy, they pulled it off the car I wanted and I just picked the bits up.

Just the front suspension...

nice, 400 is pretty decent for all that tho

in the long run, i want to put a whole body kit on, like a ts50 or something. Although i'd like to deviate a lil bit and put a massive carbon fiber spoiler on the back.

I've seen those honeycombe grills but i can't remember what model they are off?

the honey comb grills are off fairmonts, you dont mean like a drift type wing? please tell me your not.

ps, you also need the different bonnet, as the normal one dips down in the middle, whereas the fairmont one goes up, kinda like a large bonnet bulge...

Cheers
