Hi Guys hope this is the right spot for this,

Im looking at putting a BA shifter in the EB, Got everything hooked up and have built some electronics to interface with the shifter now come the part where I need to figure how to interface with the tranny.

If anyone has more info on how these transmissions shift It would be greatly appreciated I know its all controlled by the ecu but specifically how is what Im looking for.

I am thinking there must be a signal which tells the tranmission its time to change up and blocking this signal would hold it in gear till you let the signal threw ie, pulling back on the shift ?

Any ideas ?

Ford's version of " Tiptronic" is backwards....Mitsubishi had it the right way.

hit muzza up with a pm. he can sort out the electrics for you for a small price.

Just wondering where you got the shifter cable from. Coventry's dont have any anywhere in australia and ford dont have them either. Ford also want $150 for one. :S

Got the whole lot shifter, cable, and facia on ebay for like $50 :-) , Thanks for the tip aswell but im not interested in buying anything as I want to intergarate all the functions in to the microcontroller I already have in my car. I have just found the schematics from the factory book and it looks like it will be pretty easy.
