Guys, I know this seems to be a common problem..

The shifter on my ED is very sloppy so I purchased two
whiteish looking bushes from Ford and commenced
to remove the centre console and Tbar ect..

I found that I didn't have any bushes in my selector at all..

I am wondering if someone has any pics (my max ellery doesn't)
on the correct position for the bushes to sit in or on?

Many thanks in advance..

You get to them from under the car  you should not have to go pulling s**t apart in your car.Im sure when mine got done by the auto place they did it from underneath.

There are bushes located at the base of the T bar, and on the links under the car. The bushes are in red, Its a pic of a EF shifter but they should the same.

From memory you need to attack it from above and below, but don't need to remove the entire shifter assembly, just the t-bar. One was missing from both my EB's. I figure they clapped out and fell out.
