I'm installing power steering and trans oil coolers in my left front fender, my question is can I use rubber hose or do I need to use braided line?

you should only need the normal rubber hose dude , get from auto parts shop or trans place ,making sure it is the power steering , trans fluid compatible

use transmission return hose. there both low pressue so there is no need for any fittings.
