I am thinking of putting the EL XR on the Kings Springs lows. If I do this would I have to change the suspension to suit? What have people done. Isn't it possible that if you dont change the suspension as well that the springs can pop out if you raise the car to high.

What have people experinenced???

if you put lows on your xr the ride hight wont change at all, the tickford suspention is about the same height as king lows, if you do put king lows in you wont need to change your shockers but if they are little squeeky its probably a good idea while you have them out anyway

the XR runs on "lows" from factory. they are lower than the stock suspension..

you either have normal springs or "XR" springs as people generally call them.. being an xr6 you will have xr springs. these are equilivent to "LOWS" from factory. if you want lower you will have to go "superlows"

While everyone things XR suspenision is equivalent to lows, they aren't.

Front are very much the same.

Rears are lower. Tends to level out the overall height of the car.

But if you are going to tow anything, lows would be a killer. I've towed a couple of cars on trailers, boats and jetskis, and the XR springs are just good enough to go the job without loosing your rear bumper.
