Does anybody know if it is possible to replace the pull-handle type handbrake that is in the EB series with a standard lever-type handbrake?

If so, does anyone have any experience or tips in doing so?

My handbrake cable appears to have come apart near the pulley, so I need to replace it anyway. If I could also set it up with a lever type instead, all the better, since I'm doing the work anyway :)

So, anyone?

i think it involves putting in a later models centre console, which could be a bastard job in itself to do...

For all the hassle, I dont think that there will be many people doing it. you know yourself that there is a hell of a lot of work involved Spider

Thanks for the info Spider, but from the sounds of it, I think I'll pass :)

I was only looking to do the handbrake itself, not anything else. I'll just have to go get a replacement cable and just fix it up as-is.

Thanks for the replies though.
