how hard is it to drop the transmission sump ? for an EF ford any tricks to the trade that can help me out

i just jacked the front of the and undid the bolts at the back of the sump first to allow most of the oil to tip out.
remember to get a new gasket and make sure it is fitted correctly to avoid leaks
also when doing up the nuts make sure you tighten opposite nut to the one you have just tightned like when you do up a wheel. makin sure the the pan is goin on even.

Pan should only be cleaned with 'brake clean' spray or similar.
Dont use a rag as lint and fibres will block the insides of the trans.
