Dose anyone know of a modification to strengthen the clutch pedal mounting bracket for my son’s XF and my EB. Strangely enough they both seem to have the same week s**t bracket. You would have thought Ford would have fixed it on the E series. I have pulled my sons bracket out and re welded around the mounting pin, but it would seem to be the same on my EB. Did Ford make a heavier duty one on a different model (ute or wagon)?
Or should I just beef it up the bracket with heavier gauge steel. I don’t really won’t to be under the dash a third time pulling them out?
