hey guys since my manual conversion i have had this plug that is connected to my pedal box just hanging loose. On other 5spd falcons i have seen it is connected to a wire but i dont think i have it on my car
im just wondering if i am doing any harm to my car by not having it connected and what does it actually do thank you

I think you will find it is to do with Cruise Control.

ohh ok lol well thats wired if it is because to of the other ea falcons i brought for parts were ea cfi and they did not have cruise control and that clip was still conected

I believe it is to do with allowing the car to start only when the clutch is depressed.
I could be wrong. Anyone with a factory 5 speed? BenJ

It's the cruise control cancel switch. If you downshift gears & forget to cancel the cruise by the steering wheel buttons, That is the "back-up" safety switch.
Hyundai's are the only cars i know that you have to de-press the clutch to get it to start. |
