I'd like some sensible advice on how or if it can be done preferably with the American non-electronic 4 speed (AOD?) gearbox please?
Or you can buy the car off me to save it,pics and details on carsales.com.au

I personally haven't heard of an AOD in an E-Series, not saying it's not possible, it probably is.
Not sure why'd you lean towards an AOD over a BTR?
I guess the AODs have alot more support due to their use in america, and are probably stronger, but what are your plans for the car?
Are you putting an auto in to make it a better drag car/handle more power then the T5, or do you just want an auto to cruise?
This is the poly green sprint with the shaker yeah?
I honestly think the shaker is hurting your chance of selling it, they are the sort of car people like to look original.
Engine mods are one thing, but exterior stuff like that really turns alot of people off.

don't convert it in my opinion, it'll hurt the resale value.

I want to convert it so it's easier to drive, "user friendly"as it's quite healthy (1150 rpm idle). I'm on holidays at moment so i'll post pics on how i mounted the shaker when i get home. Some ally brackets and cut 'n' shut and re- f'glassissing......
