You need a 6spd M78 tailshaft and 6 speed gearbox mount. It will work, but the reverse lockout will not function.

good luck accidentally getting reverse. A mate has a T56 in his BA 1, can't get reverse accidentally. You will most likely need a custom front half of the tailshaft.

i think there is a member on here (not too sure who) that has somehow connected the reverse lockout to the brake (where you need to apply the break in-order to get into reverse) not too sure how he done it. maybe try a search??

Without a reverse lockout switch you just need to force the gate open to select reverse.

You wont be able to put it in by accident because its hard work to open it when you want to.

I havent hooked my switch up yet and I dont know if I will bother.

There is no reverse lockout on the 5 speed.
