ok guys, thaught id start a thread so we can all argue about what is the correct offset on e series falcons and stop using other peoples threads to argue in
 so throw up your ideas and proof if you have it, i realy want to know the right answer. i always thaught it was +6 but that information was gatherd from the search funchion on here ages ago so i have no real idea or proof, so yeah go for it fellas, throw up ya argument

Officially its 0 apparently. I thought it was 6 as well, but meh.
AU+ is 36mm. |

It changes depending on the width of the wheel.
Stockies are +0, most 8" wide rims are about +6. This is so most of the extra width gets pushed inwards, not out towards the guard.

Stockies are +0 . Wrong!! kinda... 6" stockies are +6mm offset. Havnt been able to measure my original Fairmont rim properly cause of the tyre And yes the offset can change with the width of a wheel. People think they have to stick to +6mm to fit their e-series but it all depends on the backspacing whether its gonna fit. I had 7" performance alloys in e-series offset and after measuring found that they were +10 offset but still fitted fine. |

90% of the people who run adapters are also running seriously gay wheels.
learn to deal with it. adding rims to a car is a very personal thing so finding those perfect wheels are often very hard. who gives a rats s**t what offset they are as long as they dont stick too far in and dont rub. is there any legalities about offset? do they HAVE to be within a certain region? |

I don't think you'd find many people who'd call my Simmons FR18's gay - I guess that's why people pay $900 a wheel for them... |

I thought it was 90% of people who AREN'T running adapters have seriously gay wheels, either that or they have factory 'alloys'. E-Series wheel options suck a***.

you have it all wrong. %90 of people who are running NON FACTORY WHEELS, have seriously gay wheels. honestly it seems no one has taste anymore. the bigger and gayer the wheels are, the more people seem to want them. |

From what i've heard and seen so far X and E series rims are interchangeable but A series have different offsets and therefore may not be interchangeable?
They are all five stud with the same PCD though(?).
