My diff makes a clunk noise when I go down a gear. Or when I have it a high gear and slow down it starts hopping and my diff clunks I think it has backlash or something, I dont think it's a big issue as
It doesn't do single spinners , not that i do alot of burnouts, btw it's a 3:45 LSD el xr6 It doesnt happen all the time, would my diff need a service ? The noise is quiet annoying Lol

could be diff bushes worn out so its mooving around when under load and when load is backed off.
