hi

i just got a diff from a ed xr and want to put it in my ea
i noticed that the pinion yolks are different the ed has a round flange wih the uni clips on the outside and the ea has a saddle type flange(uni joins strait to yolk).with uni clips on the inside
will i have to get a different tail shaft or will i have to get a custom uni...
or do you think the uni's are interchangable....???????????

Okay, you need to change the flange on your EA diff on to your ED diff, Not hard at all, Or get a EB2-ED tailshalft (better option)

Also, You need to do something with the rear lower control arms, EA's had smaller bushes with the rear control arms, EB2-ED had bigger ones.

What you can do is use your EA ones, press the rear bush out (where it joins the diff housing) and put a EB2-ED one in .

Done & done .
